Account books, 1805-1820, 1836-1840.

Record of debits and credits accrued by Solomon Emerson from 1805 to 1820 and from 1836 to 1840. The accounts from 1836 to 1840 are more comprehensive. The front cover of vol. 2 reveals that the copy book was manufactured and sold by Horatio Hill of Concord, N.H. and has a border engraving with an eagle in the center of the page. The back cover has a map of the United States on it.
